       Recently, the website of China Non-ferrous Metal Industry Association published the "2020 China Non-ferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award approved projects" list, The technology project "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Clean Production of High Value-added Products with Secondary Resources of Copper, zinc and Nickel" jointly completed by Guilin University of Technology and Jiangxi Ruida New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. won the third prize of China Non-ferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award in 2020.

       China Non-ferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award is established to reward units and individuals that have made important contributions to the scientific and technological progress of the non-ferrous metal industry, mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of scientific and technical workers, and accelerate the development of scientific and technological undertakings in the non-ferrous metal industry, including the Technological Invention Award and the Scientific and Technological Progress Award.

       China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and China Nonferrous Metals Society shall be responsible for organizing the evaluation of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award. China Nonferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Awards are divided into three levels: first prize, second prize and third prize, with no more than 100 awards per year. Among them, the China Nonferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award is evaluated once a year.

       China Non-ferrous Metal Industry Association is a national non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by enterprises, institutions, social organizations and individual members of the non-ferrous metal industry in China. It is a social and legal person established according to law. Founded in 1984, the Chinese Society of Non-ferrous Metals is an academic mass organization for scientific and technological workers of non-ferrous metals and related disciplines in China.        The company's award-winning project "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Clean Production of High Value-added Products with Secondary Resources of Copper, zinc and Nickel" uses secondary resources of copper, zinc and nickel generated in industrial production as raw materials, and uses its properties and characteristics to initiate the combined leaching process, which solves the problems of large acid and alkali consumption and large waste salt production in the recovery process of secondary resources, and improves the crystallization properties of iron and aluminum slag. The slag amount and metal loss rate are reduced, and the electrodeposition copper and zinc products are produced by the combined extraction-electrodeposition method, thus realizing environmental protection, clean production and resource recycling. The project has achieved a total output value of 1.464 billion yuan, with significant economic and social benefits. The third prize of China Non-Ferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award is a full affirmation of Ruida New Energy's technology and industrial achievements.
